Ingredients:
Procedure:
Beef:
- 1 pc Knorr Beef Cube, crumbled
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chopped spring onions
- 200 grams beef sirloin, sukiyaki cut/ thinly-sliced
Other ingredients:
- 6 cups cooked rice
- 1 pc carrot, sliced into thin strips, sauteed with some oil
- 1 pc cucumber, peeled, deseeded and cut into thin strips
- 2 pieces egg, cooked scrambled, sliced into strips
- 8-10 pieces Nori sheets or sushi sheets
- soy sauce and wasabi for dipping
Procedure:
- Let's begin by preparing the beef. First, you need to mash the Knorr Beef Cube with brown sugar, garlic, ginger and soy sauce. Then, stir in the spring onions before placing the beef in and marinating it for at least 10 minutes.
- Prepare a wide pan and make it nice and hot. Cook the marinated beef in, then set this aside to cool.
- To assemble the Kimbap, prepare a bamboo mat on top of a clean towel. Place a piece of nori over it and measure about a cup of rice to go on top. Spread the rice to the edge except for the top part. Leave 1 inch unfilled on the top edge.
- Next, place some cooked beef, carrots, cucumber and egg strips in the center of each roll.
- Now, roll the bamboo mat, making sure to push down to seal and pull-back every time you roll. Slice those rolls into 1 inch pieces. Repeat until you used up all the ingredients. When you serve Kim bap with soy sauce and wasabi on the side, you will find yourself lost in the goodness of this dish.
